The 49th Ward Service Office depends heavily on our unparalleled 49th Ward Streets and Sanitation Superintendent, Dan Murphy (pictured, at right). In partnership with the Alderman’s office, Streets and Sanitation is responsible for helping residents resolve many quality of life issues, including, but not limited to:
- Overgrown lawns, parkways, parking lots, or properties
- Unshoveled sidewalks
- Trash complaints, including overflowing waste containers, “fly dumping,” and bulk items
- Requests for rodent baiting
- Seasonal services, such as Christmas tree recycling and mulch pick-up
Please report any complaints for these services to the 49th Ward Service Office by phone (773.338.5796) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) so that we may communicate the concern to Streets and Sanitation.
