Dear Neighbor,
I will be the guest tonight on Cable Access Network’s (CAN-TV) live call-in, “Political Forum” program. The show will air TONIGHT (Wednesday, February 3rd) from 7-7:30 p.m. on cable channel 21.
I will be providing my reaction to last night’s election results, including reformer Toni Preckwinkle’s overwhelming victory against Todd Stroger. I’ll also provide an update on news and activities in the 49th Ward, including my Participatory Budgeting initiative, in which I am asking the residents of my ward to vote on the ward infrastructure improvements for this year.
Finally, in light of Alderman Ike Carother’s guilty plea to corruption charges, I’ll talk about my plans to advance my ordinance to give the City of Chicago’s Inspector General the power to investigate alderman. TheChicago Tribune today called upon the City Council to pass my ordinance.
I welcome you to call in during the show with your questions or comments.
Sincerely,
Joe Moore
