The Rollin’ Recreation van is an exciting way to bring organized activities to parks that do not have consistent staff members present. The Chicago Park District recognizes the importance of all of Chicago parks, no matter the size. Keep a look out for more events associated with the Chicago Park District because events at the parks are sure to make your summer a special one.
When: Friday, July 28th (5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.)
Where: Loyola Plaza (Loyola Red Line stop, 6540 N Sheridan)
Join Loyola University’s Community Relations Office as they continue to celebrate summer with community, food, and music. This week’s specials will feature a performance by Wheel Jam Circus Experience: Acrobatic Acts in addition to another cupcake sale by the MORE Mobile Cupcake Truck. Entrance into the plaza is free.
Summer on the Plaza is a summer tradition occurring each week throughout the summer. Mondays feature a farmer’s market while Wednesdays and Thursdays spotlight a variety of live music. On Wednesdays, the performers are on the plaza and on Thursdays, they move to the New 400 Theatre. I encourage you to support the Rogers Park community by attending any of these events.
