You can vote early this weekend and Monday.
Early voting takes place TODAY (Saturday), from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., TOMORROW (Sunday), from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at any one of the 51 early voting locations across the city, including the following locations convenient to 49th Ward residents:
6000 N. Broadway (at Elmdale)
6601 N. Western (2 blocks south of Pratt)
Chicago Board of Elections “Loop Super Site”
175 W. Washington (between LaSalle and Wells)
NOTE: This site is open Monday until 7 p.m.
If you need a ride to an early voting site, please reply to this e-mail or call 773-973-4900.
If you are registered to vote at your current address, an ID is not required. Out of an abundance of caution, however, we advise you to bring an ID, such as a driver’s license or state ID, in the event there is a question about your registration.
IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE, YOU CAN STILL REGISTER TO VOTE AT ANY EARLY VOTING SITE. After you complete your voter registration, you must vote at that time. If you need to register to vote, please bring two forms of ID, one of which must have your current address. For a list of acceptable forms of identification, CLICK HERE.
Of course, you can vote on Election Day itself, this Tuesday, November 6th. On that day, you can vote only at your local polling place. To find your polling location, CLICK HERE.
For the next four days, we all will have a chance to choose the kind of country we want to live in. If you haven’t already done so, now is the time to get out and vote.
