I am writing to invite you to attend a series of informative workshops on issues vital to both tenants and landlords.
The Tenant/Landlord Workshop Series begins this Thursday, November 18th, and continues for the next three consecutive Thursdays, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the St; Ignatius Church Canteen Room, 6559 N. Glenwood (enter through parking lot on Loyola Ave.).
This FREE workshop series is open to both tenants and landlords and is sponsored by the Rogers Park Community Council and the Edgewater Community Council. Each workshop will be lead by an expert from the Community Investment Corporation.

UNDERSTANDING THE CHICAGO RESIDENTIAL-LANDLORD AND TENANT ORDINANCE
• Rights/Responsibilities/Remedies of Tenants and Landlords
- Tenant/Landlord Compliance with Fair Housing Laws
• Impact of Foreclosures on Tenants
HABITABILITY/MAINTAINING YOUR APARTMENT
• Including eradicating Bed Bugs and other Household Pests
