State Rep. Cassidy represents the 49th Ward, including the entire Rogers Park community. She also represents most of Chicago’s Edgewater community, a small portion of the West Ridge community, and a tiny sliver of the City of Evanston.
We are very fortunate to have her as our representative in the Illinois General Assembly.
Below is State Rep. Cassidy’s request:
As you may know, the veto session is quickly approaching (Nov. 27th-Dec. 6th). We expect to work on a variety of issues including pensions, public safety and education.
I’ve heard from many of you at town halls, coffee hours and contact with my office, but I wanted to reach out and ask that you take a couple minutes to fill out this year’s legislative opinion survey. It’s only 10 questions and touches on the most important issues in our state. Once complete, I will share the results on my web site (http://repcassidy.com).
I value your opinions on these crucial issues. As your representative, I seek to carry the values of our community to Springfield. The experiences I have had speaking with constituents on these issues fundamentally shapes the votes I take, and the results of this survey will provide a detailed summary of opinion of the district.
Thank you for your time, and if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact my office at 773-784-2002 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please share your thoughts with Kelly on what promises to be an incredibly important legislative session.
