Come out Saturday and support our local neighborhood high school. Sullivan High School is hosting its first annual Dream Run, a 5K run/walk to support the Sullivan DREAMers College Scholarship Fund. The run will take place this Saturday, June 6th, 8:30 a.m., at Sullivan High School, 6631 N. Bosworth.
The entry fee is only $25. All the proceeds will go directly to the scholarship fund. To register for the event, send an email to email@example.com. Registrations will also be accepted the morning of the run. All participants will receive a t-shirt.
Following the race, join us for an after-race celebration on North Shore between Bosworth and Greenview. The celebration will be open to the entire community!
From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. this Saturday, June 6th, Sullivan will host an Open House for prospective students and interested community residents. Come and see for yourself why this school is receiving rave reviews.
Sullivan is truly a unique Chicago Public High school. Although it is one of the smallest high schools on Chicago’s north side, it still provides its students with countless opportunities. Sullivan is a tightly-knit community in which each student gets the individualized attention he or she deserves via specialized curriculums in careers and technical education (both business and medical), fine arts electives, and Junior ROTC.
Furthermore, Sullivan’s students reflect a diversity not found in most schools. In Sullivan, students have the opportunity to learn with students from nearly 40 countries with a multiplicity of racial and ethnic backgrounds and religious traditions. And Sullivan offers plenty of student leadership activities to enrich this wonderful diversity.
Sullivan after-school activities include: After School Matters, dozens of clubs, a full athletic program with teams in playoff contention, JROTC, German exchange program and much more!
Come to Sullivan on Saturday and see what everyone is talking about!
