A woman allegedly was sexually assaulted early Wednesday morning near the Lunt entrance to the Morse “L” station. The woman was attacked on the 1300 block of West Lunt at approximately 5:25 a.m. and chased to the construction area just west of the entrance where she was assaulted.
Media reports indicate the woman is hospitalized in stable condition.
CTA surveillance cameras depict an “individual of interest” entering the Bryn Mawr “L” station at 4:50 a.m. He exited at the Morse “L” station at 5:14 a.m. and is seen loitering at the Lunt entrance to the station. The cameras then observe him chasing a female to the Lunt entrance where the victim reports she was sexually assaulted.

I have been in contact with 24th District Police Commander James Roussell, who tells me he has ordered additional patrols in the area.
