Do you live in a condominium or rental building and want to convince your fellow building residents or landlord to make your building more green and energy efficient? Come to the next Saving Green Together workshop. “Raising the Roof: Organizing Strategies for Your Apartment, Condo, Co-op, Block and Community.”
The workshop will take place Monday, April 25th, 6:30 p.m., at the United Church of Rogers Park, 1545 W. Morse (at Ashland). Free parking is available at the parking lot on the southwest corner of Morse and Ashland.
If you live in a single family home and want to make your residence more energy efficient, it’s easy; you don’t have to convince anyone other than yourself and your family. But what if you live in a multi-family dwelling unit building? How do you convince your fellow condo owners or your landlord to share your vision for a more green and energy efficient living environment?
At this workshop you’ll meet some veteran organizers who will provide you with the support, strategies and skills you need to bring your neighbors together and/or convince your landlord to share your vision. Make sure you are not alone! Don’t miss this useful and informative workshop!
After Monday’s workshop there will be one final workshop in the series. Scroll down for more information on the remaining workshop.
