Enjoy some fun winter activities this weekend at Polar Palooza. The two-day festival will be held at the Loyola Lot at 6601 N Sheridan this Saturday, December 3rd, from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday, December 4th, from noon to 6:00 p.m.
Kids of all ages will enjoy an all-seasons synthetic ice skating rink; carousel; a Christmas tree lot; holiday train, live ice sculpting, gift shopping at unique, local, socially conscious vendor booths; food and drink from some of Rogers Park’s best restaurants; glitter crafts; Home Alone screenings at The New 400 and live music! If you come by on Sunday, you’ll even get to meet some live reindeer!
Admission is $5 per person or $10 per family, which will grant you access to all activities. Also, if you attend the Loyola Rambler’s men’s basketball game vs. San Diego State University on Saturday at 3 p.m., you get 50% off game admission using offer code: polar and will receive $2 in “Polar Cash” to spend at the festival.

In conjunction with this third-annual event, Loyola and the Rogers Park Business Alliance have illuminated the CTA Loyola Red Line station and a half-mile stretch of nearby Sheridan Road with thousands of beautiful white holiday season lights.
