Enjoy some fun winter activities in fall-like weather this weekend at Polar Palooza. The two-day festival will be held at the Loyola Red Line Station Plaza this Saturday, December 5th, from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 6th, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.
Kids of all ages will enjoy an all-seasons synthetic ice skating rink; a Christmas tree lot; holiday shopping at unique, local, socially conscious vendor booths; food and drink from some Rogers Park’s best restaurants; glitter crafts; holiday cookie decorating and more! If you come by on Sunday, you’ll even get to meet some live reindeer!
Admission is free, but for a $5.00 per person charge, you will have access to ice skating on a synthetic rink, arts and crafts, and face painting. Also, if you attend the Loyola Rambler’s men’s basketball game vs. Creighton University on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., you will receive $2.00 in “Polar Cash” to spend at the festival.
