I am joining the New 400 Theaters in sponsoring a free viewing of the next game on the big screen this Thursday, March 22nd, at the theater located at 6746 N. Sheridan (just south of Pratt). Tip-off is at 6:07 p.m. Doors open at 4:15 p.m. Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis.
Food and refreshments will be available for purchase and the theater offers a full bar.
The tournament started last week with 68 teams and Loyola is now one of 16 teams remaining thanks to thrilling come-from-behind “buzzer shot” victories in the first two rounds. The so-called “Sweet 16” series starts tomorrow, with Loyola taking on the University of Nevada, Reno.
The Ramblers were last in the NCAA Tournament 33 years ago. Their trip to the “Big Dance” ended that year with a defeat at the “Sweet 16.” This year, most experts predict Loyola will be victorious in tomorrow night’s game and advance to the “Elite Eight.”
My thanks to the 400 Theater for joining me in hosting this event and supporting our home team!
I hope to see you there!
