Help Support a Farmers Market in the 49th Ward

October 16, 2009

Dear Neighbor,

A dynamic committee of local residents, business owners and community leaders has come together with me to establish a FARMERS MARKET in the 49th Ward.  We hope to launch the Glenwood SundayMarket in late spring on Glenwood Avenue near the Morse Red Line stop.

Joining me in support of this exciting initiative are the Rogers Park Business Alliance, the Clark-Morse-Glenwood Special Service Area, the Glenwood Avenue Arts District, the 49th Ward Green Corps, theRogers Park Community Council and scores of community volunteers.

We can’t pull this off, however, without some seed money.  For a “taste of things to come,” please join us at“Market Dazed,” a fundraiser for the Glenwood Sunday Market.
