Join me this weekend for one of the most popular neighborhood events of the summer–the Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival. It’s a FREE, weekend-long arts festival that features over 120 artists, open studios, and live entertainment by 40 bands on three outdoor stages. Experience every variety of art, music, theater, food and drink on the streets of the Glenwood Avenue Arts District at Morse and Glenwood.
The 13th annual festival takes place this weekend (Saturday, August 16th and Sunday, August 17th) from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Some of the best music performers in Chicago will be featured at the festival. For the Entertainment Schedule, CLICK HERE.
Find a gem from a soon-to-be-famous artist or pick up some holiday gifts from the ceramic and craft workers.
My staff and I will be at the festival taking city service requests at our 49th Ward Satellite Service Office Booth on Morse just west of Glenwood.
