Join me this weekend for one of the most popular neighborhood events of the summer–The Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival. It’s a FREE, weekend-long arts festival that features over one hundred artists, open studios, and live entertainment by 40 bands on three outdoor stages. Experience every variety of art, music, theater, food and drink on the streets of the Glenwood Avenue Arts District at Morse and Glenwood.
The 11th annual festival takes place this weekend (Saturday, August 18th and Sunday, August 19th) from 12 Noon to 9:00 p.m. A kick-off party will be held Friday night from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Some of the best music performers in Chicago will be featured at the festival. For the Entertainment Schedule, CLICK HERE.
My staff and I will be at the festival taking city service requests at our 49th Ward Satellite Service Office in booth 126 on the north side of Morse just steps from the Glenwood intersection.
Take advantage of this amazing festival!
