Join me this weekend for one of the most popular neighborhood events of the summer–The Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival. It’s a FREE, weekend-long arts festival that features over one hundred artists, open studios, and live entertainment by 40 bands on three outdoor stages. Experience every variety of art, music, theater, food and drink on the streets of the Glenwood Avenue Arts District at Morse and Glenwood.
The 12th annual festival takes place this weekend (Saturday, August 17th and Sunday, August 18th) from 12 Noon to 9:00 p.m. A fest launch party, the Cobblestone Jam, will be heldFriday night, August 16th, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Some of the best music performers in Chicago will be featured at the festival. For the Entertainment Schedule, CLICK HERE.
My staff and I will be at the festival taking city service requests at our 49th Ward Satellite Service Office Booth on Morse just west of the Glenwood intersection.
Take advantage of this amazing festival!
