Offer your feedback on various proposed improvements to Clark Street at Vision Clark Street’s second Community Open House this Wednesday, August 9th, anytime from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 7004 N. Clark (just north of Lunt).
The proposals are part of the Vision Clark Street planning process to develop a long-range plan to revitalize Clark Street and strengthen its identity and vitality. The Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA), our neighborhood’s official chamber of commerce and business development organization, is leading the process, together with The Lakota Group, a design and urban planning firm.
Over 200 neighbors and Clark Street business owners attended the first Open House last May. The Vision Clark Street team used the ideas generated at that open house, together with input gathered from scores of interviews with neighborhood stakeholders, to fashion some conceptual ideas for improvements along Clark.
This is your opportunity to offer your input on these proposals, plus share ideas you might have to make Clark Street even better. Stop by at any point and stay for as long as you would like.
As an added bonus, enjoy delicious authentic Ethiopian cuisine from Ethiopian Diamond II, paletas (popsicles) from Paletería La Monarca, and popcorn! A “kids table” will keep your children occupied while you study the proposals, so bring your kids along!
Do not miss this opportunity to meet with your neighbors and give the planning team your feedback on the various ideas. We want to hear from you!
