Despite the coldest and snowiest winter in 30 years, things will be heating up in Rogers Park this weekend at the Glenwood Sunday Market’s 5th Annual Heat It Up! Chili Cook-Off and Festival. I am proud to be this year’s host and master of ceremonies for this delightfully scrumptious annual event. Join me thisSunday, February 23rd, 12 noon to 3:00 p.m., at the Mayne Stage, 1328 W. Morse.
Stuff your face with some of the most delicious chili in Chicago. This competition will be fun for everyone!
In addition to the chili tastings and cash bar, activities will include a prize wheel, family friendly games and a ton of fun. New this year will be a “Selfie” Station Spot for live Tweeting/Facebooking of the event by attendees as well as a “Warm-The-Cockles-Of-Your-Heart Raffle” featuring a beautiful handmade quilt, Kindle Fire HD, limited edition signed and numbered nature photos by Mike MacDonald, a unique tie from bRustik, tickets to SNORF and much, much more!
You won’t want to miss this delicious occasion!
