To help utility customers experiencing financial hardship and in need of assistance paying their monthly electric bill, I’m partnering with State Representative Kelly Cassidy and ComEd to host a “CARE Fair” thisWednesday, June 19th, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Willye White Park Fieldhouse, 1610 W. Howard (at Marshfield).
If you are currently undergoing financial hardship or you are a disabled veteran or an active and deployed member of the U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard, or Reserves, you may be eligible for financial assistance. Come to the CARE Fair to learn if you qualify.
Even if you don’t qualify for financial assistance, you’ll get information on bill payment options, as well as information on how to save energy to lower your monthly electric bill.
Please bring your
- Utility bill, legal ID and social security cards for all household members
- Verification of income for the last 30 days for all adults in your household
- Documentation of hardship (medical, loss of family income, family crisis, etc.)
For more information on ComEd’s assistance programs, visit ComEd.Com/CARE or call 1-888-806-2273.
I hope you will find this beneficial.
