Follow me this Friday, April 29th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to vote early at the 49th Ward Service Office, 7356 N. Greenview (at Jarvis), and then join me for fried chicken and liquid refreshments (including margaritas, beer, wine and soft drinks).
This is the seventh year of my “participatory budgeting process” in which I give residents of the 49th Ward the power to determine by direct vote how to spend the ward’s $1 million infrastructure budget. Vote for the ward improvement projects you would most like to see implemented this year and then join us from some food and refreshments.
If you can’t make it for my Follow Me on Friday event, or simply don’t feel like socializing, that’s ok. Early voting is taking place at my 49th Ward Service Office today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You can also vote early today (Thursday), from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., outside the Sheridan Road entrance to the Loyola “L” station.
And for the first time in participatory budgeting elections, you can vote online from the comfort of your home, office, coffee shop or any location with an internet connection. For information on how to vote online, CLICK HERE.
Finally, the official Election Day is this Saturday, April 30th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Chicago Math and Science Academy, 7212 N. Clark. In order to vote, you will need proof of residency (e.g., driver’s license, state ID, signed lease, etc.).

I hope to see you this Friday, 5:00 to-7:00 p.m., at my Ward Service Office!
