This is your last chance to get in on the ground floor of the planning for this year’s 49th Ward 2013 Participatory Budgeting Initiative in which 49th Ward residents vote on how to spend my $1 million ward infrastructure budget.
The FINAL Neighborhood Assembly takes place TONIGHT, Monday, October 29th, 6:30 p.m. (pizza), 7:00 p.m. (meeting) at the United Church of Rogers Park, 1545 W. Morse (at Ashland) 3rd floor. Free parking is available in the lot across the street at the southwest corner of Ashland and Morse.
This is the last of six meetings I’ve been hosting throughout the 49th Ward to solicit ideas on project proposals that could be placed on the ballot at next spring’s Participatory Budgeting Election (a seventh meeting in Spanish will be held tomorrow). Come to the meeting and learn what Participatory Budgeting in the 49th Ward is all about. Complimentary pizza from JB Alberto’s Pizza will be served before the meeting.
