Join me tomorrow (Tuesday, May 6th), 6:30 p.m., for the third in a series of CONDO SMARTS WORKSHOPS sponsored by my office and the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations (ACTHA). The workshops are held on the first Tuesday of every month atSullivan High School, 6631 N. Bosworth (Room 141).
Tuesday’s focuses on the dos and don’ts of managing condo association and board meetings and elections. The types of meetings that need to be held, election of officers, notification and quorum requirements, voter eligibility, ballots, proxies, and tabulation of the votes will be among the topics covered. Attorney David Bendoff of the law firm Kovitz, Shifrin and Nesbit will walk you through all the steps in managing meetings and elections in a sound and legally defensible manner. You need not have attended the previous workshop to attend tonight’s session.
If you are driving, you may park in the lot at Albion and Bosworth. Enter either through the main school entrance on Bosworth or from the parking lot at the western doors (far left as you face the school).
