Thanks to the neighborhood’s support, Pub 626 and The Glenwood Bar raised $2,000 for Sullivan High School and other neighborhood schools! Here, owner Colm Treacy (right) presents Sullivan principal Chad Adams with a check for the donation.
Colm Treacy, the owner of both establishments and a native of Ireland, has promised to donate 10 percent of proceeds from all food and drink purchased all day, Friday through Sunday.
The proceeds will go to the newly formed “Friends of Sullivan High School,” which will support educational and extracurricular programming at Sullivan High School and other neighborhood schools.
The weekend features a number of special activities at Pub 626:
- On Saturday, from 4 – 6 p.m., the Sullivan rock band will perform.
- Enjoy Sunday brunch starting at 11 a.m. and stay for a special program at 1 p.m., where Principal Chad Adams will provide updates about exciting happenings at Sullivan.
- If you’re feeling lucky, raffle tickets will be on sale all weekend, with the list of raffle prizes to be announced.
Pub 626 will offer Irish food specials all weekend, plus there will be drinks specials at both establishments.
I hope you will join the fun while supporting our neighborhood schools.
