L.U.C. to Host Transportation Alternatives Workshop
Dear Neighbor,
The 49th Ward Green Corps is pleased to join with the Edgewater Community Council in supporting Loyola University's "Building a Sustainable Community Series." It's a series of workshops for Rogers Park and Edgewater residents designed to increase awareness on how to live more environmentally-friendly while saving money.
The next workshop on NEIGHBORHOOD TRANSPORTATION ALTERNATIVES will be held tomorrow (Saturday, January 17th) 10:00 a.m., at Loyola University's Simpson Learning Center, 6333 N. Winthrop (at Sheridan). The workshop will include presentations from experts in the transportation field and provide an opportunity to discuss in both large and small groups issues regarding transportation travel patterns, transit service and other transportation issues.
