Celebrate Milestone Birthdays at the New Morse Theater!
Dear Neighbor,
Rogers Park's newest hot spot--the Morse Theater--will be the place to be on Tuesday, November 18th, as we celebrate some milestone birthdays and the great work of a wonderful organization: FAMILY MATTERS.
Join me for the FAMILY MATTERS FALL BENEFIT, Tuesday, November 18th, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Morse Theater, 1328 W. Morse (just east of the Morse El Station).
The organization will be recognizing four community leaders who turned 50 years old this year: Cary Steinbuck , executive director of the Chicago Low Income Housing Trust Fund; Michael Glasser, founder of RogersPark.com; Sophie Nyanue, director of Family Matters' after school program; and me.
It promises to be a fun evening with great silent auction items, good jazz, and complimentary food and drinks from the Morse Theater's new restaurant, the Century Public House. Most important, learn about the great work of this wonderful organization that is a catalyst for change in the North of Howard community--building and strengthening the community through programs that support personal growth, leadership and personal responsibility.
Tickets are only $50. For more information, click on the attachment below:

I hope to see you there!
