Don't Forget the Green Parenting Class Tonight

I want to remind you of tonight's "Green Parenting 101" workshop, the latest in the WHY GREEN MATTERS HERE workshop series sponsored by my office and the 49th Ward Green Corps.  Green Parenting 101 will lead new and expectant parents through the various lifestyle options and consumer choices available to parents who wish to raise their children in a more healthy and environmentally sensitive manner.

Rogers Park resident and new parent, Manda Aufochs Gillespie, will present the latest research on a variety of timely topics of concern to families, tips for instituting change in your family, and ways to juggle restraints on family finances, time and energy. 

This free workshop will be held TONIGHT, Monday, March 3rd, 6:30 p.m., at the Loyola Park Fieldhouse, 2nd Floor, 1230 W. Greenleaf (at the Lake).
