COMMUNITY TO REVIEW PLANS FOR MORSE AVE. RESTAURANT AND ENTERTAINMENT VENUE
Alderman Joe Moore will host a community meeting to review plans for a new restaurant and entertainment venue at the site of the former Cobblers Mall, 1328 W. Morse Ave. The meeting will be held on Wed., Nov. 1st, 7:00 p.m. at the United Church of Rogers Park, 1545 W. Morse Ave., 3rd floor.
Proprietors Andy and Devin Megee, and their attorney, Dean Margos, will present plans for a 93-seat restaurant, named the Century Public House, and a 299-seat entertainment venue, named the Morse Theater, which will feature an eclectic mix of Jazz and other types of music four nights a week. The proprietors are asking Ald. Moore for his support for a liquor license.
"I am excited about this new restaurant and nightclub adding to the mix of businesses in Rogers Park and am eager to hear the viewpoints of my community regarding the liquor license", said Moore.
