Community Meeting on Proposal to Construct Apartment Buildings on 1200 Albion
Dear Neighbor,
I am writing to invite you to attend a community meeting to review a proposal by Loyola University to construct five apartment buildings on the south side of the 1200 block of Albion Avenue. The meeting will be held Wednesday, January 25th, 7:00 p.m., at Loyola University's Centennial Forum in the Bremner Lounge, 1125 W. Loyola (at Sheridan).
The proposal calls for the construction of five apartment buildings, containing a total of 29 dwelling units. The buildings would be constructed on the northern portion of Loyola's parking lot. The current zoning on the lots is a combination of C1-3 and RT4. In order to use the portion of the lot that is designated C1-3 for ground floor residential use, the zoning must be changed from a commercial to a residential designation.
A rendering of the proposed development is attached below:

I urge you to attend the meeting to offer your opinion on the proposal. If you are unable to attend, please feel free to reply to this e-mail with your thoughts and suggestions.
Sincerely,
Joe Moore
